Lance Briggs returned to the practice field Sunday, and there doesn’t appear to be any animosity between him and the front office. Jerry Angelo and the Bears played harball with the All-Pro OLB and won, but Angelo won’t tell you that.

“I visited with him [Saturday] night and as much of a man of principle that he is he said, ‘Jerry, I just couldn’t see not being with the team at the start of camp,’ and he told me about how much he’s looking forward to being part of the team and taking that next step.”

The Bears also dealt their 5th round pick in the 2008 draft to Buffalo for DT Darwin Walker. Walker is poised to take over the starting role vacated by Tank Johnson. Walker appeared in 87 games with 75 starts the past six seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, recording 264 tackles, 27½ sacks, five forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries.

The roller coaster ride of an offseason appears to be over as the Bears have turned their focus to “Unfinished Business,” the theme of this years training camp.

Now, let’s hear your NFC North predictions. Here are mine.

Chicago – 13-3
Green Bay – 9-7
Minnesota – 7-9
