Regardless of the controversy surrounding Barry Bond’s home run chase, you have to give him credit for this monumental achievement. I think Andrum Jones said it best when he stated that “a lot of guys took steroids, but nobody else is close to 756 home runs!” I for one am a Bonds supporter. Who cares if the guy took steroids? You could argue that Hank Aaron hit his home runs on diluted pitching off guys that pitched into the 8th and 9th innings. And what the hell is Bud Selig on his high horse for? Isn’t he the commish that looked away during the whole steroid era? Anyways, I digress…I think that Mr. Bonds deserves credit for this historic feat. What do you guys think?
